Diary of a QA
The bugs do not lie. Neither should release notes.
Diary of a QA is a weekly newsletter and field journal from the trenches of quality assurance: real testing stories, hard-won lessons, and the tiny product decisions users feel first. We designed and built the editorial home and its self-hosted newsletter stack.

The brief
Automation and LLMs can carry the heavy lifting, but software still needs a curious set of eyes: someone who asks whether the product actually works from the user's side. Diary of a QA needed a home for that voice, a place to publish weekly stories and lessons for testers, engineers, and founders who have ever whispered "but did we test that?" five minutes before launch.
The build
A fast static site, hand-built with no framework, paired with a self-hosted Listmonk newsletter so the audience is owned, not rented. Filterable case files, a brand-voice feed, and an "Investigation" terminal panel carry the detective conceit. Accessibility is built in: skip link, ARIA labels, and live regions on the signup form.
The voice
"Question everything. Trust carefully. Ship confidently." The brand mantra runs from the hero to the sign-off. Part tester, part therapist, part comedian: sharp QA lessons in short posts, with enough humor that engineers and founders actually read them.
